Events is now in beta — create recurring or one-time tournament nights with public pages and SMS reminders. Board reassignments now send a correction text automatically, and opted-out players are protected from accidental removal.

• Events (Beta) — create one-time or recurring weekly, biweekly, and monthly tournament events from the new Events page
• Each event gets a shareable public page with the date, time, location, and a Google Maps link
• SMS reminders — blast your entire player database with one click, or schedule a reminder a set number of hours before the event
• Per-event SMS tracking — only new players are notified on follow-up sends, so no one gets the same message twice
• Opted-out players are automatically skipped from all event SMS sends
• Board correction SMS — if a player is moved from one board to another after already being notified, they automatically receive a correction message with the updated board
• Same-board reselection is now ignored — clicking the same board again will not send a duplicate SMS
• Opted-out players can no longer be removed from your Player Database, preventing accidental data loss
• Events link added to the main navigation for all logged-in users
• Request access to the Events beta via the Contact page

A new SMS Logs section gives you full visibility into messages sent to your players, plus smarter phone number handling across the bracket builder and player database.

• New SMS Logs page under Account — view every message sent to players in your database, with real delivery status (Delivered, Sent, Failed) and incoming replies
• SMS Logs shows both outgoing board assignment notifications and incoming player replies (STOP/START)
• Phone fields on the Create and Edit bracket pages now auto-format numbers as (XXX) XXX-XXXX as you type
• Phone number search added to player autocomplete — type a number to pull up a saved player by phone
• Duplicate phone number warning on Create and Edit pages — alerts you if a number is already linked to a different player in your database

Players can now reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe and START to re-subscribe at any time — fully automatic.

• Players who reply STOP are instantly opted out of all future SMS notifications
• Players who reply START are re-subscribed with a confirmation message
• Opted-out players display a red badge in your Player Database
• All outgoing SMS include an automatic unsubscribe footer
